Museveni’s COVID address Pushed to Sunday

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has always emphasised putting on a mask

President Yoweri Museveni’s national address on novel Coronavirus has been rescheduled to Sunday September 20, at 8pm.

The President’s spokesperson Don Wanyama has confirmed this development.

“Good people, the Presidential Address on Covid-19 has been rescheduled to Sunday, September 20th, at 8pm. It will be live on TVs and radios. Asante,” Don Wanyama said.

Earlier State House had announced that Museveni would speak to the public on Saturday about the raising number of COVID-19 cases and deaths.

As of Thursday, Uganda had confirmed a cumulative number of infections 5380, 60 deaths and 2685 recoveries.

114 news cases were registered by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.
