Museveni appoints Biriggwa’s Wife to Uganda Tourism Board

Biriggwa Yewagnesh Mamo Yogi, is among 9 officials who were appointed and approved by cabinet as members of Uganda Tourism Board (UTB)

Yewagnesh is wife to Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) national council chairman Waswa Biriggwa who is also contesting for the party’s flag in the coming general elections.

Cabinet sitting on Monday September 14 at Entebbe State House chaired by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni approved the appointment of the 4th Board of Directors of the Uganda.

The approved include;

Migereko Daudi as Chairman and his ten members who are, Mr. Lyazi Vivian, Mwanja Paul, Ronald Kaggwa, Al-Hajji Eng. Sooma Ayub, Chemonges Mongea Sabila, Kirya Eddy, Muhwezi Susan Kabonero,  Katende Suleiman, Biriggwa Yewagnesh Mamo Yogi and Lillian Ajarova as Secretary.

Biriggwa’s wife was also the Country Manager for South Africa Airways.

Waswa Biriggwa, before joining the opposition served as Ugandan envoy to Ethiopia and Japan.

He is vying for the Presidential flag with Patrick Oboi Amuriat who is the current party president.
