State Minister for Economic Planning Molly Kamukama’s hopes of joining the 11th Parliament have Friday been shattered after losing the NRM primaries.
Kamukama was among the 9 contestants for Kazo Woman MP. But according to provisional results, she has lost the race miserably.
Reports coming in indicate that Kamukama isn’t anywhere in the top three and now the race is between Ann Ruyondo, Jennifer Rwaburibate Muheesi and Ronah Ruranga.
Kazo has been one of the hotly contested races in Western Uganda.
Reports further suggested that Ann Ruyondo could emerge winner although the contest was neck to neck by the time of filing this report.

Molly Kamuka also served as President Museveni’s PPS before he was transferred to Economic Planning Ministry.
