Gulu residents were Wednesday gripped in shock after learning of the sudden death of Harriet Aber, a popular farmer and businesswoman in Northern region,
Aber has been Gen. Salim Saleh’s business associate.
She was found lying lifeless at her home in Kasubi, Gulu City by her children.
She reportedly owned 3,400 acres in Nwoya district.
In October 2017, she appeared before the commission of inquiry into land matters for evicting tens of residents in Nwoya district, northern Uganda.
Police and the military cordoned off her home as investigations into her death kick- off.
