The Kabaka of Buganda his Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II is not sick as earlier reported but in Kenya capital Nairobi on a routine check up shortly after celebrating his annual coronation.
Online media outlets deeply entrenched in the monarchy reported Thursday that the Kabaka’s medical checkup is being conducted at Karen Hospital in Langata in Nairobi.
“We understand that the Kabaka takes a medical check up on a yearly basis. Like any other dignitaries and responsible leaders the World over, he does this routine whether sick or not,” reports The Investigator News.
“He normally exercises this custom either in Germany or UK.
He this time wasn’t able to go to his doctors in Germany or UK because of the prevalence of the COVID19 epidemic and hence the ban on air transport.
He accordingly reached a deal with the authorities in Uganda to have the medical checkup in Nairobi,” adds the website.
TrumpetNews wishes the Kabaka safe travel back home.
