The Minister for Kampala, Betty Amongi, has announced two COVID-19 cases recorded in arcades in the Metropolitan Kampala.
Amongi, however, notes that contact tracing remains a big hurdle.
The two arcades include Namaganda and Galiraya plazas which are located in Downtown Kampala.
While lifting a partial lockdown in Kampala, the Ministry of Health had rejected to reopen arcades  saying they are a threat in transmitting the virus.
Minister of Health Hon Ruth Aceng on Wednesday said Kampala is a hotspot for Coronavirus.
At least 11 people have succumbed to this global pandemic in Uganda and  thousands infected.
