Gen. Saleh: I swear to God I don’t have a Hand in Ndeeba Church Demolition

Gen. Saleh speaking to Bishops on Wednesday.

Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) Coordinator Gen. Salim Saleh has Wednesday assured the House of Bishops from the Anglican faith that he is not involved in the demolition of St Peters Church Ndeeba in Kampala.

Salim Saleh was reacting to media reports which linked him to the ‘mafia’ that destroyed the House of God on Sunday night leaving it on the ground.

The 49- year- old structure was sitting on land whose ownership had been contested in the Court.

Speaking to the House of Bishops led by Archbishop Stephen Kazimba at Kawanda Research Institute, Salim Saleh told the men of God that he was saddened by allegations that he was behind the extinction of the church.

“I swear before you in the name of God that I am not involved in the church demolition issues” Gen Salim said in an engagement on wealth creation and agriculture.

Saleh said government would pump shs 50 billion in Operation Wealth Creation projects for the bishops.

Whereas the church had remained searching for the person behind the demolition, this website unmasked city businessman Lodoviko Mwanje as being all the rightful owner of the land.
