Hon. Betty Aol Acan the Leader of Opposition in Parliament has survived a nasty road accident on Monday morning on her way to Kampala from her constituency in Gulu District.
The accident happened at Bobi Trading Center in Omoro district along the Gulu-Kampala highway when her official Vehicle knocked a Pick-up Vehicle registration number, UAX 888 ‘
Police says a pick-up truck that was also driving in the same direction in front of Aol’s car started to indicated late and branched off the road abruptly; the LOPs Car vehicle which was behind it came and knocked it from behind.
The Omoro district Police Commander, Mr. Peter Mugabi both vehicles have been impounded for investigations.
