Just in: Uganda Confirms 2 new COVID-19 Cases; Patients are Tanzanian Truck Drivers

Thirteen new COVID-19 cases have been reported Saturday morning by Ministry of Health bringing total number of infections to 114.

The Ministry said that out 2421 samples taken of cargo drivers, 13 returned positive.

Among the patients, 7 are Tanzanians, 4 Ugandans and two Kenyans.

“Tracking them commenced and the public will be informed accordingly,” the Ministry said.

Uganda has not registered any COVID-19 related death with 55 recoveries.
