A video clip showing a gunman shooting a woman and a bod boda cyclist has started circulating widely on social media.
According to the analysis done by this website, the video footage obtained was recorded by a CCTV in a building near the crime scene.
In the video, a man waiting, outside a building is seen having a conversation with a gunman who could be taken as a guard.
A few seconds a woman gets out of the building and also chats briefly with the gunman. However, the woman’s gestures show that the two were having an exchange. Meanwhile the man ready to ride off.
The gunman follows the woman who jumps on the boda. While watching you would think the gunman wants to sit on the boda boda together with the woman.
Before the motorbike takes off, the gunman is seen cocking the gun and aiming his target on the woman.
The people who were nearby scattered and the two people on the boda fell down.
He also shoots the boda boda man twice before taking off.
In a separate clip which could have been recorded using a phone as it contains sound and much clearer picture, the woman was rescued with a shattered shoulder while the boda man is laying in a pool of blood.
The people onlookers are heard saying the culprit is an LDU constable.
Later unverified reports suggested that the boda boda man is an LC1 chairman who helped the pregnant woman to hospital.
Reports further say the shooter is the husband to the lady he shot who later passed away.
