Two new COVID-19 cases have been reported Wednesday night by Ministry of Health bringing total number of infections to 100.

The Ministry said that out of 3,071 samples taken, 2 foreign cargo truck drivers tested positive for Coronavirus at Malaba border.

The cases are Eritrean and Kenyan.

The new infections follow President Museveni’s announcement on Monday to extend the lockdown by more two weeks.

Government agreed to allow drivers continue with their journeys after the samples are taken.
