Video Evidence: Tanzanians burying COVID- 19 victim at Night

TrumpetNews has obtained a video recording capturing Swahili speaking men wearing health suits and masks burning a a suspected Coronavirus victim in Tanzania.

In the video, about five men all speaking Swahili all wearing protective gears and masks are seen lifting the coffin from a motorcycle before laying it in the grave yard.

According to Ugandan senior investigative journalist Andrew Mwenda, these men are Tanzanians who are concealing evidence of COVID-19 deaths.

Mwenda, earlier on Thursday alleged that the situation in neighboring Tanzania had ran out of hand and the President has since banned media from reporting any Coronavirus related stories.

He predicted that Tanzania could soon turn into a virus epicenter on the continent.

“People have sent me videos of this but I cannot share them because  Magufuli traces videos to source! News media banned from telling the story!” Mwenda claimed on twitter.

On Friday Mwenda took to Twitter to post same video.

On Wednesday Tanzania confirmed 480 new cases and 16 deaths.

President Magufuli has been reluctant to implement a lockdown but rather urged the citizens to gather and pray to God to take away the Coronavirus Curse.

But the spiraling cases in Tanzania have a huge impact in the region since cargo drivers traverse the whole of East Africa delivering good to the hinterland.

In Uganda more than 10 truck drivers from Tanzania have since tested positive, they were traced and returned to their country for treatment.
