Lake Victoria Fury: Pastor Kayanja’s Lakeside Home Turns swimming pool

Kayanja's compound is now a swimming pool of sorts.

The word of God in the book of Matthew chapter 7:24-27, the creator says as thus:

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.”

“But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

Living on the shorelines of Lake Victoria has for long been seen as a norm of very wealthy Ugandans and indeed very few have afforded to erect stable structures in these drenched grounds.

But in the recent times, living on the shores of Lake Victoria has turned into a regret as many are counting losses while others will soon be rendered homeless.

First it was the owners of luxurious hotels and beaches who closed shop as water from Victoria eroded part of their buildings while others were completely cut off like Serena Hotel Kigo.

The environmentalists say Lake Victoria had returned to claim its space since it was previously encroached on.

Pastor Robert Kayanja

Due to heavy downpour which resulted into increased water levels, the water has been returning to the shores and causing massive destruction.

Among the A-listers who are headed for bad times is the man of God Pastor Robert Kayanja as the compound of his Kawuku home in Bunga is gradually turning into a swimming pool and soon the house could be no more.

The First Lady Janet Museveni, a strong Christian on Thursday implored the nation to get on its knees and beg God to save his people, otherwise we are headed for bad times.
