List: As Companies Contribute Hundreds of Millions to COVID-19 Fight, MTN donated SMS while Pepsi offered 100 boxes of Water

Ugandan businessmen, companies, banks, cultural institutions and political parties have come together to offer a helping hand in a wake of defeating a global pandemic, Coronavirus that continues to ravage communities everywhere in the world.

In Uganda, the President instituted a lockdown that will last for 14 days leaving the business community in tatters and local traders counting losses.

As a result, President Yoweri Museveni asked whoever can contribute towards those affected by the lockdown to extend his/her assistance through the Prime Minister who leads the COVID-19 Taskforce.

Taking heed of Museveni’s appeal, companies, individuals, Kingdoms, political movements have come out to donate cash, cars and food to the vulnerable.

All the donations were recorded and below we produced the list.
