Breaking: Tumukunde Released, Placed under House Arrest

Tumukunde is a lethal spy master

Presidential aspirant Lt. Gen. Henry Tumukunde has been released by police on Friday afternoon and is currently under house arrest at his Kololo residence.

The former spy chief was arrested Thursday evening when a joint security team raided his private office in Kololo along Impala Avenue.

Police explained that he would be charged with treason following his toxic utterances in which he appealed to Rwanda to support opposition forces in Uganda to remove President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

Police said he would be under section 23 and 23 of the penal code act.

He made the utterances last week while appearing on NBS TV weekly talk show, shortly after announcing his Presidential bid.
