The new Supreme Court Deputy Registrar, Lawrence Tweyanze, on Monday held an all staff meeting at the court outlining how he will conduct business at the court.
Flanked by by Ag. Assistant Registrar, Esther Rebecca Nasambu, H/W Tweyanze urged the staff to exhibit professionalism adding that he has an open door policy.
“I am very blunt and it has helped me so I want openness , I operate on an open door policy.”
The two registrars encourages staff to consider upgrading do as to remain relevant in the work space.
Among the planned interventions is training for all staff at the court next quarter.
HW Tweyanze emphasized the need to dress professionally, displaying their identity cards at all times as maintaining time management.
He said it was important for the court to have a customer care desk so as to attend to the court’s clients in an organized manner.
He informed the meeting that there are plans to procure a dedicated staff van to ease transporting of court staff.
H/W Tweyanze also revealed that there is a plan to organise an exhibition where the court will showcase what they have been doing.
