NTV news anchor Faridah Nakazibwe’s marriage with Dr Omar Ssali has crashed, TrumpetNews has learnt.
The two lovebirds resolved to break up late last year and Nakazibwe has since stopped posting photos of her husband on her social media pages.
The pair formalized their relationship in 2016 after Nakazibwe ended her short romance with ageing wealthy politician Moses Kigongo.
Before seeing Kigongo, Nakazibwe had been dating the father (Dan) of her two children. She refused to marry him.
Nakazibwe and Omar wedded in 2018 in a glamorous ceremony.
Sources at NTV revealed to this news site that Nakazibwe was asked by management to choose between her job and a man because Dr Omar had become over protective.
“He would call Nakazibwe all the time, and if didn’t pick up, Omar would go ahead and call in the newsroom asking the whereabouts of his wife,” said a source.
Multiple sources say, Omar had come very insecure to a point of camping at Serena to “catch his wife red handed.”
“NTV management decided to intervene in Nakazibwe’s issues because she was on the verge of losing the job as she had starting losing grip of her job and looked disoriented,” said a source.
“A man or a job.” Nakazibwe was asked to make a choice.
Subsequently she let Omar go.
Whereas we verified the authenticity of this information, no official at NTV was willing to comment saying it is a private matter.
Nakazibwe couldn’t be reached for a comment.
