A video of Singer Catherine Kusasira with bundles of cash (UGX) has sparked off rage among regime loyalists who are wallowing in poverty as a small section of NRM supporters keeps ‘eating.’
As to when Kusasira recorded this video remains unknown but according to her dress code, it was towards her music show dubbed Tears of a Woman which she staged at Serena Hotel late last year.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni was the chief guest of the event and amid Kusasira’s performance, the NRM chairman extended a yellow envelope to the singer while pulling rare strokes.
Museveni would later appoint Kusasira his Advisor for Kampala.
Kusasira has since been seen donating material things to Kampala dwellers.
The video which Friday circulated on internet sparked off debate as why a small section of NRM supporters continue benefiting from the system as many diehards are forgotten.
In the video she tells off opposition supporters mainly People Power to wait for their turn when they take power.
