Just in: UPDF Soldier Opens Fire near Church in Gulu, Kills 3

Three people have been confirmed dead having been shot by gun- wielding UPDF soldier.

The incident occurred Monday evening in Peace Division in Gulu.

UPDF 4th Division publicist Maj. Ceasar Olweny confirmed the deaths.

The deceased were pronounced dead on arrival at Lacor Hospital.

The trio has been identified as Ajok Beatrice, Joakim, 18, and Dan Binyang a teenager.

Eyewitness says the gunman opened fire a few meters from Pentecostal Assembly Of God (PaG) church.

The shooter has been identified as Godfrey Okello. He is still at large.
