The pictures obtained by this website show the aftermath of UPDF jet ranger crash that has killed Maj Naomi Karungi and her co-pilot only identified as Wakalo.
The cause of the unfortunate incident remains unclear, but UPDF had earlier said investigations were underway.
But the victim- Karungi while speaking to NTV sometime back said, the flight is most of the times challenged by heavy winds and high temperatures because of its small size.
Karungi had spent 14 years flying this type of an aircraft until Tuesday midday when her Jet Ranger went down in the hills of Gomba District.
According to pictures, locals gathered at the scene of a smoldering wreckage.
A witness told media houses available at the scene that the chopper plummeted from the sky around midday before bursting into flames, “there was no chance of survival.”
