It was a moment of jubilation at Kampala Parents School after release of Primary Leaving Examination results for 2019 by Uganda National Examination on Friday.

Besides hosting the entire Ministry of Education led by First Lady Janet Museveni who officially announced the results, it was double happiness when parents, children and their teachers thronged the venue to pick the results.

The School’s principal Daphne Kato later handed the results to parents and their children who turned up.

The school performed excellently by maintaining its top position.

15 pupils scored aggregate four, 16 passed with aggregate 5 while 22 scored aggregate 6.

A total number of 172 pupils passed in first grade while 54 came in second division.

The headmistress of Kampala Parents School which belongs to businessman Sudhir Ruparelia said all pupils who sat passed without registering any failures.

“And that is what we have really achieved. God is good and He has always been on our side.”

She added: “Children who are going to secondary school, congratulations. Continue working hard, put our school on the map and be role models.”

She thanked the directors for catering for the children, providing necessities and required funds that keep the school on top.

She thanked parents for working hand in hand with teachers and the school administration to achieve the best results.
