City Bar, the oldest pub in Kampala has reopened its doors following a significant investment by Rajeev, the Managing Director.
The stunning, metal, glass and timber framed pub dates back to 1960, so it was important that the investment breathed new life into the historic building whilst maintaining all its existing charm and elegance. The results are spectacular.
Mr. Rajeev told TrumpetNews city bar revives Kampala’s lost glory on the partying scene and refreshes memories. But also has created over 100 new jobs following the investment with a skilled and passionate team in place.
“We are extremely proud of the work that has gone into transforming City Bar. We have the nice view in Kampala and our prices are very friendly,” he said.
City Bar is the only hangout in the heart of Kampala where you find a promotion of all drinks at a cheaper rate.

Its located on the 11 floor of Thobani Centre building on Jinja road. The bar has ample parking space that accommodates over 1000 cars with tight security.
