Ronald Mayinja Breaks away from Bobi Wine, Forms own Pressure Group

Mayinja met President Yoweri Museveni at Serena Hotel last year

As 2021 draws closer, political actors particularly in opposition are positioning themselves to stage a stiff competition against President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who took power in 1986.

On 26th January Museveni will celebrate 34 years together with other regime historicals that participated in the NRA revolution to liberate Uganda from Apollo Milton Obote’s tyrannical leadership.

However, Museveni’s political opponents have for long attempted to overthrow him but in vain.

The country will next year hold another Presidential election to elect the next leader.

Among those that have announced their bid is Musician Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine who has since been perceived as the new opposition leader.

Operating under a Movement ‘People Power’, Bobi Wine had paraded an infrastructure that would help him dismantle the NRM system.

But the bad news to People Power is that one of their coordinators who doubles as a musician Ronald Mayinja has unveiled his own Pressure Group dubbed “Peace for All & All for Peace.”

The Gomba MP aspirant launched his pressure group at Calender Rest House in Makindye, Kampala.

He told journalists that he would use his music talent to traverse the whole country while recruiting potential peace ambassadors that would preach and practice the same throughout the 2021 general election campaigns.

Mayinja anticipates 2021 polls will be the most violent elections ever in the history of Uganda.
