MTN Uganda has offered Ugandans an early Christmas package by launching the freedom data bundles.
The announcement was made by MTN CEO Wim Vanhelleputte while speaking at ICT Innovations Expo which was commissioned by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Tuesday at Nakawa.
“It is my honour to announce the launch of the MTN Freedom Data Bundles. Our clients can now buy a data bundle that hasn’t an expiry date,” said CEO, Wim Vanhelleputte.
There has been outrage among sections of the public questioning expiry of internet data from Telecom companies. Some sections had urged Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) as a regulator to reign in on this broad day ‘theft.”
