Police has identified four thugs who were put out of action on Tuesday afternoon at Mutundwe Hill.

Earlier police spokesperson Fred Enanga had said explained that two thugs were killed at Katwe but later clarified that they four in number.

“Today 10th December 2019 at about 1500 hrs, thugs had a planned robbery in Kabowa near Kampala University.  Security officers got intelligence and tried to intercept them in their motor vehicles UBE 808F, Toyota WISH, UAN 368H Caldina black in colour,” he said.

Thugs declined to stop prompting a chase with the security team while on gun exchange.  At Mutundwe hill, thugs were cornered shooting 4 dead recovering a star pistol no. 32002896 old model and motor vehicle UBE 808F WISH. The thugs have been identified as;

  1. Wandera Stephen of Mengo.
  2. Mayanja Lameka of Kabalagala.
  3. Mugalu Dick if Makindye
  4. Segirinya Ismail of unknown residence as yet.

No member of public was injured and or affected in any way.
