Is Kenzo on Suicide Watch? (The Musician Announces he Will Pitch Camp at Kibuli Mosque)

Alone and Frightened; Kenzo

A recent survey conducted shows that 10 out of 100 Ugandans commit suicide annually.

One of the prime causes of suicide is a heartbreak. Heartbreaks compel a human being into a state of depression.

Experts believe Ugandan musician could be slipping into that state shouldn’t he receive necessary counselling to brave the agony of losing his lover Rema Namakula who last week got married to another man Hamza Sebunya.

Whereas Rema also a musician has chosen silence over the matter despite having a child with her former husband, Kenzo on the other hand failed to tame the emotions and has since become a social media fodder has his daily posts go viral.

He expresses his agony through written statements and video recordings.

At first, his fans defended his position to explain himself in what was deemed as an attack by a Muslim Sheik Nuhu Muzaata who is attached to Kibuli mosque.

During Rema and Hamza’s marriage function, Muzaata was quoted to have applauded Rema for eluding Kenzo, a cry baby that wields no capacity to take care of a woman but rather seeks public sympathy. Muzaata said such group of boys deserves to marry their mothers.

Muzaata’s remarks we perceived as an insult to Kenzo.

The Sitya Loss Singer has explained that his mother passed away 20 years ago, and he becomes emotional every time someone talks about the deceased.

His explanation received applause from the public, however Kenzo has since turned to what fans have termed as a ‘nuisance’ who seeks sympathy.

On Sunday, Kenzo, who is abroad on music tour released a video clip suspending all stage performances in Uganda if Muzaata doesn’t retract his statements.

He also confessed that he was deeply in love with his woman- Rema and that he is the official husband because the couple performed Islamic rituals.

Hours later, Kenzo threatened to storm Kibuli Mosque and pitch camp.

“I’m coming back and I will be sleeping outside kibuli Mosque until I see Mr muzata njagala ampowe ne maama wange,” his Facebook post reads.

This post has raised dust. A huge section of his supports have lashed at him questioning his mental strength.
