Presidential Advisor for Special Operations Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has once again warned whoever intends to destabilize Uganda that he/she will be crushed.
The former Special Forces Commander has sounded warning twice in less than a week while posting in his social media platform Twitter.
The First Son, while congratulating Uganda upon marking 57 years of Independence on October 9, 2019 used the same channel to deliver his message and also warning Uganda’s enemies that they will be crushed to shreds.
“Ugandan strong! I never used to believe it but Almighty God has made me a believer. Nobody can defeat Uganda! This is God’s country. Whoever dares will be crushed to dust! Ruhanga asiimwe.Happy Independence Day!God bless Uganda,” Muhoozi posted on Twitter.
On Monday morning, Muhoozi reiterated his message: “I can assure whoever even thinks of messing with Uganda will get a very bad day. Long live UPDF! Long live Ugandan Special Forces.”
As experienced as he is in the military, it remains unclear whether the UPDF General is trying to throw a veiled jab to a group that could be planning to destabilize Uganda.
Muhoozi is President Yoweri Kaguta’s son who at some point had been perceived as the successor after reports propagated by maverick UPDF officers indicated that he was being positioned to takeover from his father.
But Muhoozi has since indicated that he is still in active military service and joining politics would require him to retire from the army.
