Businessman who was Taken to Equity Bank on Life Support Machine is Dead

Zabakungu died Sunday afternoon

John Zabakungu, a real estate mogul has Sunday passed on at Mulago Hospital where he has been receiving treatment.

Zabakungu who was in his 80s has for months been sick and admitted in several Kampala hospitals including Norvik and Nakasero.

Early this month the deceased was taken to Equity Bank, Wandegeya branch in a wheelchair and on life support machine as as he sought to withdraw money to foot his medical bills.

He was being transferred to Nakasero Hospital from Norvik.

Mr. Zabakungu wanted to withdraw shs 100 million.

According to relative, Zabakungu breathed his last on Sunday afternoon.

Burial preparations are underway.
