James Mulira a prominent lawyer based in Mukono District was Monday picked from his office at 11am by unidentified men.
The gunmen raided Biira House just on top of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) offices in Mukono town.
Mulira works with Kintu and Co. Advocates.
It remains unclear whether the abductors were security agents but they held pistols and handcuffs at a time of the raid.
An witness says that three men all armed raided Mulira’s offices before arresting him.
Three more men also armed remained in the awaiting car and took off immediately when the lawyer was forced into the vehicle and the lawyer’s colleagues tried to intervene.
Mulira’s wife, Catherine Nankabirwa said efforts to locate her husband remain unsuccessful.
She reported the matter to Mukono police which has joined the search for the lawyer.
