Nwagi says Sorry for Dirty Dance with SMACK Teens

Female Singer Winfred Nakanwagi alias Nwagi is under fire for a sexually explicit dance onstage with St Mary’s College Kisubi (SMACK) teens during a performance on July 13.

Her music label Swangz Avenue on Monday apologized for Nwagi’s racy dance having been videotaped rub-dubbing these underages.

The video which ‘crashed’ internet offended the public by display.

In a statement Swangz Avenue apologized for Nwagi’s inappropriate performance.

“We deeply regret the inappropriate performance by Winnie Nwagi at St Mary’s College Kisubi on July 13th. We have investigated the incident and measures have been put in place to avoid a repeat of the same.

This was a huge error in judgment and both the Artist and the management team acknowledge the pain and mistrust caused by this incident. We apologize to the general public, parents of the students in attendance and the school Administration,” the brief statement reads.

On Monday, Nwagi who appeared before the Anti-Pornography Committee also apologised for the racy dance.
