Moses Angoria, a Saracen security guard that shot and killed a Hickory Bar owner, Arnold Ainebyona has been transferred from Mulago Hospital where he had previously been admitted.

Angoria was rushed to hospital after a mob descended on him moments after he fired a bullet that ended Arnold’s life at Quality Supermarket in Naalya a Kampala suburb.

Angoria, according to reports was tempted to shoot as he tried to rescue his colleague Babu Aweza whose leg was reportedly crushed by the deceased after he drove over his foot.

The nasty incident occurred following a protracted argument on whether Arnold and his brothers who had released a trolley which scratched another customer’s car could wait and sort the damage with the car owner.

Arnold’s death has since been attributed to pride and arrogance while his family believes their son was killed because he is a Munyankole, a predominant tribe in Uganda.

TrumpetNews has reliably learnt that the suspect, Angoria was removed from his sick bed on Wednesday by police detectives who insisted he wasn’t safe even when he hadn’t fully recovered from the injuries he sustained.

“The public is furious and it was unsafe for him to stay in Mulago,” said a police official who preferred not to be mentioned.

He added, “we took him somewhere where he will be safe.”

Police says they received credible information that some people were planning to harm him.

Luke Owoyesigire, the Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesperson confirmed to this website that it’s true Angoria had been transferred to a police custody for safety.

“The man is police custody as investigations continue. Only his relatives are allowed to visit him,” said Mr. Luke.

Pressed on which particular police station, Luke later revealed that Angoria is at Kira Police Station.

However, he insisted that no one is allowed to see Angoria except his family members.

“Not even journalists are allowed to see him,” Luke added.

TrumpetNews has further learnt that Angoria has been separated from other suspects while in custody.

But officials at Kira Road Police when contacted declined to confirm or deny that they have Angoria in custody.

Meanwhile Arnold will be laid to rest on Friday at his native home in Rushenyi, Ntungamo District.
