Muhoozi Meets Kampala Police Commanders

The Army Commander, Gen. David Muhoozi on Tuesday met and held discussion with all Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) high ranking officers.

According to information provided on Uganda Police Social Media pages, the CDF met Regional Police Commanders, District Police Commanders, Divisional commanders, intelligence officers, and detectives.

The meeting took place at Police headquarters to devise means of enhancing joint security initiatives that will promote a safer society for all Ugandans.

Among the aspects of the meeting is enhanced intelligence led operations, targeted deployments and patrols, profiling of known criminals(serial offenders), community policing, drug abuse investigations, community mobilisations and observance of human rights in policing.

Also in attendance is the Deputy Inspector General of Police Major General Sabiiti Muzeyi as well as several Directors from the Police and other security agencies.

Muhoozi’s address furthers solidifies police and army relations.
