Rubanda District has made a significant progress after the district local government completed construction of a community house which will serve residents of Nyamasizi Hot Springs.
The fully furnished mega structure, tiled and roofed with very expensive durable iron sheets cost the District shs 157 million.
The District LC5 Chairman, Mr. Kenneth Byamukama who supervised the building recently announced the completion of the state of the art structure and how it would be soon be handed over to the residents of Nyamasizi.
“A house constructed by Rubanda District Local Government is complete. We shall be handing it over to the community for use by the end of the week,” Byamukama took to his Facebook page to announce the good news of great joy.
Whereas he didn’t mention the cost, officials at the district told this website that shs 157 million was spent on erecting the magnificent house.
Looking at the house in pictures there is no doubt that the district fully utilized the funds to mark such a huge milestone and any Ugandan who can attempt to raise an audit query should be an enemy of progress.
Mr. Byamukama however, didn’t expound on the purpose of the house but it is anticipated that members of a community will tend to gather for group activities, social support, public information, and other purposes.
Kudos Rubanda District!
