Suspected lesbians found in Nakulabye in Kampala today morning red handed by neighbours who alerted police.
Allen Ndooli, 25, a residence of Makindye has been arrested by police trying to escape from the scene and her partner whom we have come to know as Nakibuuka Angel aged 26 a residence of this area Nakulabye and owner of the house where the two were ambushed.
Mrs. Nabyonga Maria one of the neighbors who said she alerted the police narrates she found the neighbor’s door open very early in the morning around 5am which is not common since the neighbor Angel is known for locking his house always at such a time.
“I was curious thinking the thieves broke in and to my surprise when I came to prove I saw my neighbour making love with the unknown female person and to me this is an abomination and a total curse to our country. It’s because of this Sodom and Gomorra in the bible were punished by heavenly fire so I had to record with my phone I had brought to make emergency call to report house break case,” she said.
With much effort and experience, we have tried to convince her to share with us the said recorded video but she has refused that she had already shared with police and that’s enough since she has done her duty as a citizen and Christian. “You want to put on social media and teach other young people the satanic stuff.” she claimed to our reporter in refusal but much is to be invested to get this video by us to show the world that such acts really exist in this African country where we respect culture and humanity.
Nakulabye Police OC has assured us that investigations are still going on and case will be handled over to state attorney’s office for court proceedings as a procedure for all criminal cases in Uganda.
Our effort to access the said suspect in police cell for an interview are still denied since the police post denied that she is a suspect whom police has already transferred to a safe custody for her safety from angry community members who wanted to do mob justice to her requesting the police to handle her over to them. “Our duty is to protect her as we proceed the case to court since she is still a suspect by now so I advise people to wait for her in court not here because we don’t break laws at the police instead we protect” said the OC police at Nakulabye.
It’s against the law to do unnatural acts like Lesbianism, homosexual, sex with an animal or dead bodies as it’s termed in Uganda penal code as “carnal knowledge against the order of nature” and the community members are challenging both NRM and opposition MPs who want to be brought back to the next parliament to reintroduce this law such that actors are punished by death not only imprisonment.
As it is the case now since court nullified the new law the parliament had passed and president signed that the quorum of parliament was not enough to pass the bill on the day it was passed.
With all this effort US and European countries plus many international organizations are blaming Uganda for such laws that are said to be inhuman to the minority of the country but the speaker of parliament, Rt. Hon Rebecca Kadaga once answered them that this is Uganda and its Ugandans to decide the suitable laws for their country not other people.
