People Power Heavyweight Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has Tuesday unveiled Joel Ssenyonyi has his publicist secretary.
Ssenyonyi until recently worked at a powerful Television Channel, NTV as a reporter and news anchor.
He publicly expressed his political activism after participating in a social media tax protest along with Bobi Wine and a couple of other government critics.
Bobi Wine was protesting the social media tax in July 2018 after government directed URA to tax all social media users.
Ssenyonyi’s actions were questioned as to whether he wouldn’t be left conflicted as a journalist while executing his duties.
As required, journalists must be professional and impartial.
Months later, Ssenyonyi announced his resignation from the popular station and said he would alert his fan base on his next course of action.
For 13 years he spent in the newsroom , Ssenyonyi is expected to use the experience to uplift the image of new establishment.
