The ruling NRM Party has this Monday received a high profile 8-man delegation from the Communist Party of China (CPC) at Entebbe International Airport.
NRM Deputy Secretary General Hon Richard Todwong and the Deputy National Treasurer Hon Dr. Kenneth Omona received the Chinese delegation on behalf of NRM. The delegation is led by Hon. Buyin Chaola a member of CPC Central Committee who also doubles as the Secretary of the same party in Jilian Province.
Speaking to journalists shortly after receiving the guests, Hon Todwong emphasised the importance of this visit saying its a continuation of the existing bilateral relationship between CPC and NRM.
The delegation also has Mr. Jiang Yanhui the Director General in the CPC Commission of Foreign Affairs and Zhou Guohui- Deputy Director of the General Bureau iv in the international Department of CPC Central Committee. Others include Xu Sujiang, Zhang Yanhong, Han Bingjie, Ying Huajun and Liu Zhijian.
The NRM Party Secretariat led by the Rt. Hon. Secretary General Justine Kasule Lumumba will this afternoon hold a high level bilateral discussion with the guests at Serena Hotel. The meeting will be attended by all the four Principals of the Secretariat and the two Directors.
The SG will also later in the evening host her guests to a dinner. The team will be here for three days.
