Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni visited the former Kenyan head of state Daniel Arap Moi on Friday as he concluded his three-day official tour in the country.
He also paid a visit to the Ugandan National Assembly Speaker Rebbeca Kadaga who was flown from Kampala for treatment a few weeks ago and is recuperating at a Nairobi hospital.
In his tweet, Museveni stated, “This morning, as I end my three-day state visit to Kenya, I visited the mausoleum where founding president Jomo Kenyatta rests and paid my respects. I also visited Mzee Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi and our Speaker, Rebecca Kadaga, who are in hospital. I wish them a speedy recovery.”
Though Museveni seemingly indicated that Moi was in hospital, contrary reports indicate he visited the retired president at his home in Nairobi. The Ugandan leader has been in the country since Wednesday, where he and President Uhuru Kenyatta have discussed several issues that affect both countries
