Government will not openly discuss Rwanda’s ‘wild’ allegations that Uganda is hosting its enemies.

The government spokesperson Mr. Ofwono Opondo has revealed that following President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s advice, no official will respond to the claims in the media.

But Rather, Museveni suggested that there are proper government channels where such ‘sensitive matters’ can be discussed.

Ofwono, speaking to journalists at the Media Center on Tuesday said he will not respond to any questions related to the current impasse between Rwanda and Uganda.

He added that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be handling this matter.

Uganda and Rwanda are currently locking horns over border disputes with five days of failed negotions to have Gatuna border post re-opened.

Cargo Trucks from different States across the region remain clogged at Gatuna with many carrying perishable merchandise.
