While releasing the 2018 UCE results, at Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS), Daniel Odongo, the Uganda National Examination Executive Secretary said that there were cases of malpractice and those who fell culprit are missing results which are being withheld by UNEB.
He said that that compared to last year, where over 5000 results were withheld, this year’s number of withheld results is lower.
Odongo said that subjects of physics, chemistry biology and Mathematics had more registered cases of malpractice compared to other arts subjects.
This year’s percentage of candidates increased from last year’s 0.9% to 3.3%
