The Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR) publicist Col. Ignace Nkaka alias Laforge Bazeyi Fils has disappeared from DRC prison where he had been incarcerated since December 15, 2018.
Nkaka who also doubles as the deputy chief of intelligence for the militia outfit which operates in the Eastern part of DRC was arrested on Uganda- Congo border, Bunagana on claims that he was traveling from Kampala after attending a high profile meeting.
Nkaka and his group were intercepted by Congo authorities and taken to Kinshasha where he had been kept until Friday when reports emerged he had disappeared.
No official in Kinshasha was willing to comment about the matter.
However, highly placed sources in the Congo government told this website that Mr. Nkanka had reportedly been kidnapped and could have been sneaked into the neighboring country.
