Sheila Gashumba Abandons NTV Job for Ex Convict, God’s Plan

Gashumba called it quits

Upcoming Kampala socialite Sheila Gashumba has absconded from work at Serena based television station NTV to take time off to romance with her new catch God’s Plan.

Sheila was an entertainment presenter on a popular evening show, The Beat until she sent a communication that she will not step at the Serena Conference hall the whole of this year.

Sheila, a daughter to a ‘prominent’ business man and self-styled political commentator Frank Gashumba is currently on a sabbatical in Dubai with her new man enjoying the ‘mornings’ of new romance.

But a relative who asked to be protected said her decision to quit NTV is against her father’s will who from the beginning toiled to see his daughter earn reputation and a decent living.

Lwanga was jailed in the UK for high profile robbery

“Frank’s desire has always been seeing Sheila present on TV. But it seems she has chosen a very different path,” said a relative adding, “Frank is really hurt.”

The situation turned worse when news circulated on internet that Sheila’s new catch God’s Plan real names Ali Lwanga has a criminal record in the UK having been jailed for high level robbery.

According to a report which appeared on Britain’s prominent news wires, in 2008, Ali Lwanga, a British of Ugandan origin was arrested for high-level robbery.

Daily Mail reported that, Lwanga was using school going children to rob thousands of pounds from money-carrying vans.

He had a high network and sophistication to know which vans are taking which routes and would then set up his team of juveniles for the heist as he monitored the operation from a separate location.

The boys would then meet him at a McDonald’s restaurant, Canning Town which acted as his headquarters and handover to him boxes of cash.

Lwanga targeted boys mostly below 16 years and paid them less than £100 according to the Daily Mail. During the heists, the boys would be dressed in their school uniforms and hoodies to disguise.
