Suspect confesses to murdering two girls

Malimali after being arrested by police

Malimali Ndihoma Sico Mashal Justine who was arrested on suspicion of murdering two Congolese girls, has confessed and police are yet to establish the motive behind this misconduct.

MaliMali confessed to killing the two females; Hulda Njiba and another only identified as Safi even though he claims it was kidnap. Investigations reveal that Mali and Njiba had been in a love relationship before she got another boyfriend. It is alleged that Mali may have murdered Njabi in revenge of ending their relationship.

Safi and Njiba had been reported missing from Entebbe on January 4th 2019 and police swung into action immediately. At about 2pm on January 6th, residents of Kikeeka Zone in Rubanga Municipality called to inform the police after suspecting a dead body locked in a house in their neighborhood. The area commander and other offices visited the scene and upon searching the identified house, two decomposing female bodies were discovered.

 Malimali was arrested by (Aviation Police) AVIPOL at Entebbe Airport while trying to flee the country. Upon arrest, he was taken to Old Kampala police station on suspicion that he might have killed the two girls

Malimali later confessed to having murdered the girls. Police opened up a case  file CRB 030/2019 and the suspect is currently detained at Old Kampala Police Station as more investigations to establish the real motive behind this crime are ongoing.
