Singer Moses Ssali popularly known as Bebe Cool has received strong support from President Museveni in move to fight and silence Robert Kyagulanyi alais Bobi Wine who appears to be opponent for both.
From the look of the move, it has now escalated to a political beef between Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine.
According to an insider the bodyguards will either wear plain clothes or police counterterrorism uniform.
Bebe Cool has commonly been known for receiving support from the President and while Cool cannot guarantee safety for his life, it is essential that as he does the NRM work, he does it under maximum security. While performing at a concert last year, Bebe Cool was attacked by angry revelers who hurled bottles at him while on stage. It is from this incidence that Bebe Cool received Special gurards from HE Yoweri Museveni.
This is not the only time that Cool has received tangible favors from the president. He reportedly received Shs 1billion cash and more cash promises last year before he traveled to United States of America where he spent close to three months on holiday.
Before travelling, Bebe, along with fellow artist Catherine Kusasira and others visited the President at his country home in Rwakitura .
Upon His return from the US, the singer held a press conference at Torino Restaurant and mainly addressed journalists about the progress of his charity works which have also been rumored to be funded by the president. Bebe Cool is trusted to be the accurate person to use to silence people power and while doing his charity work, he is seen moving around wearing yellow attire which he says represents what he stands for, that is; the NRM and President Museveni.
Though some members of the public are dismissing his work and attacked him on social media, Bebe firmly says he is representing the silent majority who stand for the truth. As the singer now moves around supporting the disadvantaged he has been sported in the company of guards who and many NRM diehards as he puts out a good name for him and the NRM among the mainly the youth and the public.
Cool donated many items to Kiruddu Hospital as part of his charity move and part of the move to popularize NRM among the opposition youth.
The other move as some public member believe is the the recent reconciliation with Bobi Wine at the Eddy Kenzo concert. It is said that this might be a way to silence the angry people power youth who are always abusing Bebe Cool and the NRM government.
It is getting clearer that Bebe has received more cordiality from the public and has been hosted on media stations, the most recent and unforgettable is the NBS Frontline.
He was hosted on other stations where he discusses politics and this is evident that he is not only involved in music but the politics of Uganda. For this matter, the NRM has taken advantage of the fact that the musician is much more popular and has fair reception at present at have come in to use his as one of the strategies to achieve and push the Museveni 2021 agenda.
