Singer Moses Ssali popularly known as Bebe Cool is ready to sing for his perceived rival Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi as long as the latter can afford to facilitate the former.

Bebe Cool made the revelation on Thursday night during a popular talk show ‘Frontline’ on local television station NBS hosted by Charles Odongtho.

The show gained traction after the station announced the singer would attend to discuss the rationale of music and its impact on the politics of the country.

Among other panelists present were FDC bigwig Salaam Musumba, DP president general Norbert Mao, government spokesperson Ofwono Opondo and FDC publicist Ibrahim SSemujju Nganda.

As the opposition politicians raised emotions on how the State is currently treating Kyadondo East MP Hon. Kyagulanyi by blocking his music concerts, Bebe Cool wondered why these same politicians couldn’t feel for him when ‘hooligans’ attacked and pelted stones at him as he performed at Lugogo Cricket Oval last year.

“Is it because I belong to a different political group? Does that stop me from being a Ugandan? Don’t I have a family to feed as well?” Bebe Cool charged.

He however, stated that he felt for Bobi Wine as musician after police barred him from preforming on December 26 at his Busabala beach, “to be honest I felt bad.”

But the Tubonga Naawe star was quick to criticize Bobi Wine for failing to follow guidelines and rejecting to have security clearance ahead of his concert.

“Ask him did he have any police letter?”

Bebe Cool reiterated that he perceives Bobi Wine as a competitor and therefore can’t allow him a chance to outshine him from the ‘trade.’

At this point the moderator asked Bebe Cool whether he can sing for Bobi Wine in future if at all he assumes the highest office in the land.

“I am very smart. I sing for Presidents. If he becomes one and he is able to settle my bill why not,” Bebe Cool responded.
