Besigye Scoffs at Bobi Wine’s Anti-NRM Song ‘Tuliyambala Enguule’

Opposition heavyweight Col. Kizza Besigye has described Hon Robert Kyagulanyi’s new tune ‘Tuliyambala Enguule’ as very exciting but doesn’t depict the real meaning of the struggle for change.

Besigye said the song would best be sang after Mr. Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has caused change.

“There is this new song Tuliyambala Enguule, it really excites me. But its timing is wrong,” Besigye said while giving his closing remarks as he appeared on CBS radio on Thursday.

As a legend in the politics of the country, Besigye said the song would have been released at a later time when Bobi Wine and ilk have successfully forced out the dictator.

The former FDC president has lately been quoted in the media as attacking and discrediting Bobi Wine’s political jargon, ‘Tweberelemu’ as tribal.

However, Besigye came out to defend his position saying he was misquoted in the media.

Bobi Wine on numerous occasions has raised the word to rally his supporters particularly in the Central Region to defend themselves.

To many political observers, Bobi Wine’s veiled revelation is directed at his tribe-mates (Baganda) to withdraw support from those deemed as Westerners in opposition.

The perception ideally  has been created that political competitors in opposition are no different from their opponents in the regime since they all hail from Western Uganda.
