2 Million Man March to Welcome Bobi Wine on Thursday

People Power leaders in Arua recently

People Power movement has announced its intentions of thronging Entebbe Airport on Thursday to welcome Kyadondo East legislator Robert Kyagulanyi who has been away in the U.S receiving treatment.

On Tuesday morning Hon Kyagulanyi better known as Bobi Wine assured his supporters through a video he posted on social media that he will be returning home to start from where he stopped in fighting to edge out the regime.

Shortly after his proclamation, his colleagues arranged a presser at Speke Hotel in Kampala to publicize and appeal to more Ugandans join the Thursday procession to Entebbe.

Sam Lubega, a member of Democratic Party who has since joined Bobi Wine warned security forces not to interfere with their activity.

He added that, arrival, Bobi Wine and his supporters will converge at Wampewo grounds to have a prayer and their after their leader will address the nation and announce his next course of action.

Mike Mabikke appealed to security agencies that people power is a clam organisation and therefore should allow them to proceed with their programs.

But government spokesperson Ofwono Opondo on Monday said Bobi Wine will be offered security once he returns home.

It remains unknown whether Bobi Wine will allow or deny the offer.
