Bobi Wine Praises UPDF Doctors

Detained Kyadondo East MP Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine’s life is out of danger contrary to previous reports that his health had worsened.

On Sunday afternoon a group of Members of Parliament both in opposition and NRM visited Bobi Wine at Makindye Barracks and he confirmed he was steadily healing.

He further commended army doctors who provided necessary medical treatment.

The dancehall star was charged on Thursday in Gulu Court Martial and remanded to Makindye Barracks until August 23, 2018.

He is accused of possessing firearm and several rounds of ammunition, a case which his supporters refer to as trumped-up.

UPDF spokesperson Brig. Richard Karemire
who accompanied the MPs told this website that, “Bobi Wine is in high spirits and and full of fun.”

Adding that he requested to see his children which the army granted.

“His buddy Hon Ibrahim Kasozi was full of smiles and they exchanged big hugs. He shared a meal of fruits with the MPs who visited him,” Karemire said.

The MPs who visited him include, Ibrahim Kasozi,  Arinaitwe Rwakajara, Doreen Amule, Anita Amongin, and Peter Ogwang.
