Video: Bobi Wine’s brother says Family Suspects he is Dead

Michael Mukwaya ,aka, Mikie Wine has Thursday recorded a video in which he alleges that his elder brother Robert Kyagulanyi was killed by the state.

Mikie Wine filmed himself in a car along with other family members while outside Gulu Hospital where they camped waiting to see their brother.

“Unfortunately we have not been able to access him. No one is telling us the truth. Bobi Wine could be dead,” said Mikie in a sombre mood.

Mikie Wine a musician has entirely been groomed by his brother who introduced him to the music scene.

Unfortunately, this young man has not been able to make it musically like his elder brother.

Mikie Wine posted the video on his Facebook page and it has since been viewed and reviewed by hundreds of his followers.

Reports circulating on social media which have been picked by leaders including Bobi’s sympathisers in parliament claim he was terribly tortured by SFC commandos during his arrest from Pacific Hotel in Arua where he resided while combing the area rallying support for candidate Kassiano Wadri who won the election on Wednesday.

Whereas other members of Parliament who were arrested have been arraigned in Gulu Court, Bobi Wine is yet to surface anywhere.

This has triggered emotions and sentiments that new political firebrand could have been executed.

But UPDF spokesperson earlier Thursday confirmed the dancehall star will appear in Gulu Military Court on charges of treason.

He is accused of spearheading an attack on President Yoweri Kaguta’s Museveni’s convoy in which one of his cars was smashed with a stone.

Mikie Wine’s allegations could trigger unrest in parts of the country as several of Bobi Wine’s followers demand his immediate release.
