Sumin Namaganda Ditches Brewery for Airtel

New Airtel PRO; Namaganda

It was only a matter of time. Sumin Namaganda who was Nile Breweries Communications Manager has left the brewery for Airtel Uganda.

Sumin who started off at the Nation Media Group owned Daily Monitor moved to Nile Breweries 6 years ago.

A focused PR executive, Sumin has been the darling of many journalists who she treated like peers owing to her experience in the news room.

Announcing her new role, Sumin said she was excited at the new challenges the telecom offered.

She relayed the news of her new assignment to her friends on social media groups.

We reproduce what she wrote.

Hello everyone.  Today I start a career journey in the telecoms.

I join the SMARTPHONE NETWORK –  Airtel Uganda as PR Manager after 6 years at Rwenzori and Nile Breweries respectively.

The Breweries offer a dynamic approach to PR and of course the telecoms offer a better mix.  Faith and I have the mantle and are ready to rattle. Regards Sumin.

Sumin will be deputised by Faith Bugonzi who was in a caretaker position after the exit of Sandor Walusimbi who joined Umeme.
