Exclusive: UIA ED Kaguhangire Snubs Handover; Office Broken into as New Boss Takes Over

New ED Basil assumes office

Interdicted Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) executive director Kolly Kamugira Kaguhangire has not appeared to handover office as earlier promised.

This website earlier Friday reported how Kaguhangire had agreed to quit office and the ceremony would be presided over my Finance Minister Hon Matia Kasaija.

Office Broken into

The latest we have gathered is that after kaguhangire snubbed the event, the staff of UIA broke into her office and a new executive director has taken over.

Her replacement has been identified as Ajer Basil.

TrumpetNews will bring more updates on this story.
